Senior Graphic Designer/Art Director
As a Senior Graphic Designer at our company, you will produce and oversee a large range of creative materials for our brand alongside a team of talented designers.
You will help mentor our creative talent and lead the way to beautiful, insightful, impactful design for both e commerce and print media. You will be responsible for upholding the visual integrity that the followers of our brand have grown to expect.
About the Job...
· Create and oversee the development of a range of branded materials, including on-site experiences, emails, ads, print, and in-store assets.
· Help conceptualize seasonal campaign creative direction alongside the Design team
· Assist in building a team of strong, bright, talented designers
· Work closely with marketing channel leads to ensure projects are on track
· Assign work and ensure design team efficiency
· Evaluate policies and processes and brainstorm ideas for improvement
· Ensure aesthetically consistent, top-notch visual output by giving and receiving constructive criticism in a positive, open manner.
· Ensure that content is aesthetically consistent by monitoring and reviewing the work of other designers as well as your own.
· Regularly review the work of other designers to ensure top quality creative.
· Constantly push toward professional development as you enhance and perfect your skills. We are never finished learning.
· Monitor the direction and evolution of the brand and be proactive on what changes mean for design
· Completing projects by or before deadline and with ample time to do revisions as necessary
· Edit code and lend a hand with coding needs for launch of site assets
About You...
· Design Expert -- A Degree in Graphic Design or a related major and 5+ years working in design
· Experience designing for web across multiple channels
· Wonderful written, verbal, and visual communication skills
· Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator as well as InDesign, HTML/CSS
· Crystal clear knowledge of typography, layout, color theory, and general design
· Solid understanding of best practices mobile-enabled platforms and responsive design
· Intuitive understanding of branding concepts
· Following of current trends in digital design, fashion, and retail communities
· A love for collaboration & Mentorship
· A+ leadership skills, and an all-hands-on-deck service-oriented mentality
· Master of multitasking
· Experience working with and giving feedback to other creatives
· An extensive understanding of marketing trends, terms, and strategy
· Ability to distill and present across cross-functional departments
